John O’Sullivan has 30 years’ experience in recruitment with senior roles at Ajilon (UK) Limited, trading as Computer People, Best International Group plc and Spring Group plc. He is currently a non-executive chairman and strategic advisor to eight companies in the Talent Management and Recruitment sector. John was a founder and has been a Non-Executive Director since March 2005, becoming Chairman in April 2014.
Andrew is one of the founding Directors of Rethink Group, with 24 years of Business and Technology staffing experience under his belt. After working with two smaller companies, he joined Best International Group plc in April 1997 where he was responsible for the Birmingham, Edinburgh, Manchester and Leeds offices. In 2016 Andrew was appointed as CEO for the Rethink Group.
Ben is a chartered accountant and joined the Rethink Group as Chief Financial Officer in April 2014. Prior to joining Rethink, Ben was the Chief Financial Officer at Norman Broadbent plc (AIM: NBB), an executive search group headquartered in London with operations around the world. During his five years at Norman Broadbent, he managed a number of successful equity placements to both private equity and institutional investors, developed internal systems and controls to monitor and manage risks within the business and supported the implementation of the Group’s corporate strategy.
Peter has over 30 years’ experience in advising directors and companies. He founded the law firm Memery Crystal, which specialises in matters relating to listed companies and advising on floatations, takeovers, mergers and other corporate finance activities. Peter is a graduate of Oxford and McGill Universities as well as being a former Law Society examiner, Chairman and Director of several companies. He also lectures on corporate finance and corporate governance issues.
Executive Director, Digital Gurus
Farooq has worked in recruitment for over 10 years. He was one of the original founders of Digital Gurus, starting the business in a spare room also used as a television repair workshop. Digital Gurus grew rapidly to become a multimillion turnover business with offices in London, Dubai and Australia. In 2016 Digital Gurus became part of the Rethink family and added a Manchester office in 2017. Farooq has a background that encompasses more than just recruitment, having worked in both private and public sector organisations. He joined the Group Board in 2017.
Joe joined BGF in July 2013 and is based in the London office. He is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments in London and the south east. He has been involved in three transactions to date and leads BGF’s AIM activities in the region. Prior to BGF Joe spent three years as an investment director at EPIC Private Equity, a fund focused on growth capital investments in, and buyouts of, UK SMEs. Joe was a director of several portfolio companies in the retail, consumer and business services sector. He began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, working across a range of sectors. Before entering the private equity industry in 2010, Joe worked at Betfair.com and led strategic projects in the UK sports business, principally in product development and marketing.
Executive Director, RTM Division
Graeme is responsible for the vision, strategy and leadership of RTM. He has worked within the recruitment industry since 2001 when he joined SThree after completing an English Literature degree at Cambridge University. At SThree Graeme became the number 1 contract biller in the company and was subsequently appointed MD of 3 of the group brands. In 2008 Graeme left SThree to set up his own business in recruitment process outsourcing and consulting – the Consort Group. This business was established to help organisations recruit better and take talent acquisition seriously. After 7 successful years of growth the Consort Group was sold to Rethink Group in April 2015. The purchase was funded by BGF (Business Growth Fund) and marked a real desire from both Graeme and Rethink to create a tangible presence in the RPO market - RTM.
Executive Director, Rethink On-Demand
Rob has over 20 years’ experience in recruitment since graduating with a degree in Economics and working part time playing and coaching sports. Rob enjoyed a successful period at Adecco working in business development, account management and L&D before moving to The Pertemps Group (ITRN), leading the IT Contract and Interim Markets division. Prior to joining Rethink Group he spent 5 years at Monarch heading the IT Contracts business and building the specialist Government division. Rob heads up the Group’s On-Demand Rethink Recruitment business and is board sponsor and key relationship owner for a number of our large managed service contract customers. Rob is fanatical about sport, food, family, current affairs and having fun.
